The New Metropolis Airing Tuesday Nights on LMC-TV

The New Metropolis, a two-part documentary series by filmmaker Andrea Torrice about America's first suburbs, will air in its entirety tonight at 8:00pm on LMC-TV Cablevision Channel 75 and LMC-TV Verizon Fios Channel 36.
Part Two of the documentary, "The New Neighbors" was the focus of discussion for the Housing Panel held at the Mamaroneck Public Library during the committee's 2013 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Film Festival last month. "The New Neighbors" narrated by Ruby Dee tells the story of two ordinary people, one black and one white, who successfully made racial integration the centerpiece of revitalizing Pennsauken, NJ.
Part One of "The New Metropolis: A Crack in the Pavement" narrated by Peter Coyote, features two first suburban officials struggling to fix their crumbling infrastructure and argues for regional cooperation.
